Witney Junior Young Farmers
raise money for Antics at the Young Farmers Rally in Woodstock Oxfordshire on 27 May 2007

Junior Farmers

With attractions from Tractors and Farm Machinery Parades, Camel Racing and Tug of War to Craft Tents, Trades Stands, a Climbing Wall and Fun Fair; there was something for everyone at this year’s Oxfordshire Country Fayre.
Although the weather was horrendous, with driving rain and gusts of wind, this did not dampen the spirits of the spectators or organisers who put on a truly wonderful day.

Antics was very fortunate to have their stand in the Witney Junior Young Farmers marquee where we were able to display some of the work we have done to date along with future fundraising events and our selection of merchandise.

Competitions were held throughout the day between the different Young Farmers Clubs and Witney Young Farmers won 15 trophies including first in the ‘best marquee’ and ‘best Young Farmers Flag’ and overall best club.

It was a great day out and the effort and creativity that the children put into their competitions, such as design a welly competition, dragon cake and flower displays was outstanding.  To see more of what the day had to offer, please visit www.enstonefc.org.uk

Thank you to all at Witney Young Farmers for Supporting Antics on your charity fundraising day!
